We have eaten here on many occasions but we've always ordered pizza. Their pizza is my favorite, but today we were on a mission to try other items on the menu. Recently we had a white pizza and ordered a side of marinara. Turns out their marinara is homemade and very good! I ordered the made-to-order veal Parmesan and hubby ordered the meat ravioli. The veal was cooked very nicely; not overcooked like some places like to do. It was served with spaghetti but it must've been thin spaghetti because it was almost like angel hair with that wonderful marinara on top. The ravioli had five large pieces and hubby said he got his fill. As good as the veal Parmesan was, next time I want to try their homemade lasagna just because I want to try different things.

Called at 7pm on Sunday July 19th, an hour before their posted closing time. No one answered the phone. On Facebook they claimed they close early on Sunday, but than they should change their operating hours to reflect that. They asked me to give them another try. Called tonight (Thursday, 8/13) at 5:44, twice, and again no answer. I give up. Don't bother with this place.

Decent food at best. Ordered a pizza for pickup. Restaurant was dead and the guy working was pretty awkward and I was uncomfortable in the environment.

We moved here from another state and have started looking for all our new favorites ... Jonis Pizza is a keeper. We ordered take out - wings, pizza and a child's ravioli. Everything was hot and ready when we arrived. We ordered mild wings - just enough spice to make them interesting and not dry and overcooked as some places make them. They were perfect. We ordered a white margarita pizza. The crust was awesome...thin and fresh. The toppings were in perfect balance as well. If the empty plate is any indication, the baked child's ravioli was great as well. We will definitely be a return customer. Just as a side note: they prefer you pay in cash.

Good NY style pizza in St. John's county at a good price. Glad we tried it for take out. Will order here more often. Pesto cheese bread was good too!

I've heard about this place from my parents - always their first stop when they arrive in St. Augustine - not only for the food, but for the service. Well, we made it here in December and I had to say I was impressed. The staff recognized my parents when they walked in and while the inside is unassuming, they reserve the delight of the experience to the service and the food. Fresh, warm bread was brought to the table along with our small house salads (which are a hearty size!). We then shared a white pizza - which was delicious! We had enough to take leftovers home, and it was just as good reheated. Rich, and creamy and wonderful. Grazie Jonis Pizza!

I work in Jacksonville, FL and Jonis Pizza is few a miles nearby the area I work at. I drove past it a few times, but never dined there until today. I enjoy good Italian food as well as pizza and decided to give them a try. I came by for lunch today. The place was empty and the owner greeted me and offered me a menu. Prior to arrival, I viewed their menu online and decided upon what I wanted. I ordered the fried calamari, chicken Marsala, and a drink. The owner rang up the total at the counter. I asked if they take debit, but oddly the owner asked if I had cash; however, he accepted my debit card payment. I sat myself at a table. The owner brought me my drink and went into the kitchen. I observed the owner and at least two other people in the kitchen prepare my order. My appetizer of fried calamari came out first. The marinara sauce was warm. I couldn't tell if the calamari was homemade or possibly frozen. I couldn't tell either way based on the breading, but it tasted very good and I will say it tasted better than the fried calamari served at Olive Garden, but not as good as the one at Carrabba's. The marina sauce was warm and tangy. My chicken Marsala entrée came out a bit afterwards before I managed to finish the calamari. The portion was average. It was two portions of chicken and appeared as if it was a chicken breast sliced in half to make it appear generous. A fairly decent amount of marsala sauce with mushrooms were provided and served over regular spaghetti. The flavor and taste was fine, but the spaghetti could have been better drained. It was not bad, but average. After I finished my meal, the owner and I chatted a bit. He was keenly interested in my take on the meal and I told him it was fine and I would come back to try out his pizza the next time I'm in the area which I will. I critique/judge an Italian restaurant based on its chicken Marsala and pizza. Thus far, Jonis Pizza in terms of its chicken marsala is average and I look forward to trying out their pizza and see if it's worth continuing to visit. The interior is completely unassuming, but one major observation is that the location is somewhat hidden in a mostly empty strip plaza mall off the highway that can be easily overlooked short of regular patrons who know where it is.

Joni's is simply the best pizza in the area. It seems most of their business is take out so you can always find a seat. Good atmosphere, really nice owners.

I love the food at Jonis Pizza. My husband and I get a pizza from there most weekends and it is always delicious! We love the crust and the toppings are always ample. The price is very reasonable, too. I've also had the lasagna, which was also very good. A very fresh side salad came with the lasagna. Yum! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have ordered pizza from here 3 times since moving to Nocatee in late September. The first two times, the pizza was average. Tonight's pie was really good. I have also ordered a dinner from here but that was nothing to brag about. I will stick to ordering pizza and hope it continues to turn out like tonight's pie.

Used to drive to Palencia to get good NY Style pizza until one day I didn't want to drive that far, and I was very happy that I got great NY Style pizza closer, cheaper, hotter and with more flavor. Nice post-baking seasonings added to the top of the pizza. I am a NY Style pizza purist, if you fold it and it droops its good pizza and it droops every time. The pizzas is always quick and ready when I arrive. A friend of mine says that the Eggplant Parm is the best she's had in the area. I cannot bring myself to order it because I like the pizza so much. Also the zeppoles are authentic, most of the time they don't even make it home, deep fried dough is just not the same reheated anyway.
